Leisure Time

Interview with Stacy

JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time?
Stacy: I borrowed some books from cell mate to read to pass some of my time, but they also had a tv and I'm sure they had classes of some sort you could take

JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details.
Stacy: We were aloud tv sometimes but you had to watch what other people wanted to watch

JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail?
Stacy: Yes it was hard. The food they served didn't really help.

JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise?
Stacy: Not very maybe once a week if everyone was good, and it wasn't really even outside, it was a room you could play ball or something, socialize, with the clear roof so you get the illusion your outside.

JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held?
Stacy: I'm not sure I didn't look into that
